Arca runs various types of Italian courses. Pick the most suitable one for your needs among the following:
Starting every Monday, the courses are divided into six levels established by the Common European Framework for languages: A1 (Elementary), A2 (Pre-intermediate), B1 (Intermediate), B2 (Upper Intermediate), C1 (Advanced), C2 (Proficiency).
On the first day of the course, you'll be given a one-hour written and oral test to establish your level of Italian and to determine your principal needs. You'll also get a folder containing a guide with useful addresses for your stay, a map of Bologna and the week's programme of cultural activities. In the afternoon there will be an introductory tour of the town centre to get to know the most important monuments and to discover local colour and atmosphere.
At the end of the course you are entitled to an attendance certificate recognized by the Italian Ministry of Public Education, showing the duration of classes attended and the level of language-proficiency attained.
Prices include inquiries and booking of accommodation, didactic materials, cultural activities and attendance certificate.
