Special Courses

Intensive courses for individuals or small groups intended for people who wish or need to focus on particular aspects of Italian language and culture. These are 20-hour weekly courses, divided into 10 hours studying the specific language area in the mornings and 10 hours of workshops with a teacher in the afternoon. They may be held in or sometimes outside school, in order to elaborate on the subject through practical activities and visits to places of particular significance in Bologna and its surroundings. You are welcome to request any topic within the subject-matter of the course that particularly interests you.

Please could you book your course at least a month before starting. To make the most of it, you need to be autonomous in your use and knowledge of Italian.

On the first day, you will be given a folder with useful addresses for your stay, a map of Bologna and the weekly programme of cultural activities. In the afternoon you can join the introductory tour of the medieval centre and get to know the most important monuments as well as discovering local colour and atmosphere.

At the end of the course you are entitled to an attendance certificate recognized by the Italian Ministry of Public Education, and showing the duration of classes attended and the level of language-proficiency attained.

Prices include inquiries and booking of accommodation, didactic materials, cultural activities and attendance certificate.
